How do I book? Do you offer a trial?
Classes are all bookable online in advance at www.elevationsleeds.com via the childrens dance class page. At the time of booking online we take £10 registration fee to secure your place which is refundable in the event your child finds the session is not for them!
First class is payable on the door to establish enjoyment and suitability, thereafter HALF TERMLY. Term dates usually follow Education Leeds, but sometimes there might be a small variation in term dates.
Tuition fees can be made via cash (receipted) or BACS. We do not accept personal cheques. Registration fees can be paid online via our card provider OR cash in person. Please do not pay registration fees via BACS as the t-shirt sizing goes straight to our supplier. For BACS payment please email email@example.com.
New students simply pay on the door at the first class.
If you are due to be on holiday (parties etc) week 1 of term and the class you have booked for is FULL (and we have a waiting list) you will be asked to pay the session you have missed if you wish for the place. If the class is not full, we will happily make your start date from the date agreed (for example, after your holiday).
Student Renewal from 2018-2019?
Normal payment terms apply. You’ll receive a bill over summer via email which will be due by the noted date. Half Termly payments.
What happens with my registration money that I paid online?
Well, providing you have shown on the agreed date if child LOVES the class, then the deposit money turns into a registration fee. For this you receive an Academy training t-shirt. This can be worn as uniform for classes such as Street and Musical Theatre, and over the top of leotards for all other styles.
If the class wasn't for you- we're sorry about this- dance isn't always for everyone! Please email within 24 hours of taking the class to cancel your place and we'll rebate your deposit for you online.
Examples of losing deposit…
- If you do not appear on the agreed date, we will assume you do not wish for your place and such will forfeit your deposit. Your place will be immediately released. You may be requested to pay another deposit if you have re-arranged your initial start date.
- In the unlikely event you don’t enjoy the session you have booked for, and fail to let us know. We would expect an email to the Academy within 24 hours of attending the session. Should you leave it days/weeks to notify the Academy or choose not to notify at all- you will lose your deposit.
So, I’m new- how do I pay after my initial pay on the door session?
If your child has enjoyed the class, you can return to the front desk to pay the remainder of the term (pro-rated if joining mid-term), or you can pay the half term fee the following week before your second class. On completion of term fees you will be handed your Academy t-shirt. You can opt to pay fees via BACS- email the Academy for details firstname.lastname@example.org
Do I have to keep booking back in half term by half term?
Your place is granted for the full academic year (Sep 2019-July 2020) unless you cancel otherwise. Please notify us before the last day of each half term should you wish to cancel your place.
Should you leave the Academy mid-term or leave over a holiday period without notification, you will be sent a final invoice which must be paid without delay. For instance, if you planned to not return in January- ensure you let us know before the final day of term before (before the Christmas holidays commence) etc.
